Mark A. Pearson is
a partner at ARC Law Group,
a law firm focused on counseling Creative, Talented
and Entrepreneurial clients. His primary practice areas are
entertainment law, business law and
Intellectual property law; forming entities, counseling on
trademark & copyright issues, and drafting
contracts for music, film & new
media clients. Mark and his partner, Jeff Farr , work with video
game developers, theater producers, musicians, entertainment industry
professionals, writers, performers, tech creators, startups,
record labels and artists. Mark has negotiated deals with
Disney, HBO & LucasFilm (Skywalker Sound),
worked on projects with MTV Networks and Nintendo of America
and he even performed in one of his clients'
independent horror films.
Before joining the Bar, Mark was
an award-winning television journalist. He covered
a variety of national and local stories for
several network affiliates, including a two-year
stint on the Iditarod Trail in Alaska for ABC.
An accomplished author and
public speaker, Mark is frequently interviewed by
local and national television and radio programs
for his views on the entertainment industry. He
also frequently speaks at entertainment industry
conferences.
